THE STORY BEHIND THE STOLE
Rooted in heritage.
Made for your story.
A little piece of where you come from,
for the moment you step into what’s next.
A personal beginning
Meet the Creator of Kapchi

Hi, I’m Bianca Poma.
Kapchi began with a feeling: I wanted to see my heritage represented on graduation day. As a proud Indigenous woman of Quechua/Wari culture, with Peruvian roots in Ayacucho and Ancash, I wanted to carry that part of myself into the moment.
That feeling became a small shop, a sewing machine in a corner of my living room, and a way to help other graduates honor where they come from.
Every order means so much to this little business. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your story, and of such a special day.
Heritage, made personal
What We Do
A milestone that looks like you.
We create customized Indigenous graduation stoles for Latin people of Indigenous descent—a personal way to celebrate your achievement and the heritage you carry with you.
Through color, woven detail, and your own words, each stole becomes part of your graduation story. Something to wear with pride on the day, and hold close long after it.

Growing with our community
What's Next?
More than a moment. A future we share.
Our hope is for Kapchi to grow beyond graduation day. We dream of supporting the next generation through scholarships and community programs that celebrate Indigenous identity and possibility.
This is a vision we’re still growing toward. For now, we’re building it one meaningful connection at a time.

A vision for future scholarships.
Growing together

Thank you for being part of our story.
